Fishing is big in Guilderton! Every man & his dog can be seen on the beach early in the morning or late in the evening throwing a line out to catch that elusive big one :o)

Hubby caught 6 fish - a couple of Taylor!....yum!! :o) Nothing like fresh Taylor!! .... And 4 herring, which are not my favourite. .....but it's all fun and part of the camping holiday adventure!

Water Sports are big in Guilderton.

If you have a boat and kids then you need to invest in one of these - a seabiscuit.
This was the first time we used our new seabiscuit and it went like a dream! I finally plucked up enough courage after a couple of champas ;o) .....and enjoyed the ride!!

Of course there's the beach if you want to try your new boogie board or surfboard.

We have our own boat, but if you do not there's plenty to choose from at the boat hire on the Moore River foreshore.

They also hire out paddle boats & canoes.

Cruises go daily for those that want to do an organised trip and are reasonably priced.

This is one single cheap investment when camping with the family. We have had double cooking burners and the little gas bottle in the past.... and that is good for a few weeks away.... but just for a long weekend camping, this is all you need - a cheap single burner with throw away portable gas bottle and a billy and frypan.

Of course at Guilderton Caravan Park they have a campers kitchen which has everything you need including free bbqs, toaster, hot plates, fridge and sink for washing up afterwoods. Oh and tables & chairs to enjoy your meal.

Nothing like fresh fish cooked on the bbq!! .... or bacon, eggs & tomato for breakky!! :o)
