The local tavern is an Irish pub which overlooks the Jarrah forest. The provide good old fashioned hospitality as what you would expect from an Irish Pub. You can dine in or alfresco in the beer garden. For all the die hards, Guinness is on tap. A good choice for lunch or dinner.
Above the tasting rooms of the winery is Millbrook’s restaurant with sweeping views of their vineyards through the floor to ceiling windows. The menu is comprised of modern Australian dishes and in past years has won Gold Plate awards.
In the warmer months you can enjoy casual dining out on their deck or you can order a picnic gourmet hamper and find your own special spot within the grounds.
The restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday.

A Special Lunch
We went to Millbrook for a special Sunday lunch and tried the Paella and the snapper. Both were beautifully presented and tasted divine. Unfortunately neither of us were drinking at the time and not ordering wine did not go down that well with the waitress.. well this was a winery after all but still we had come to enjoy the location and the food. I asked for water but wasn’t given the choice of what sort, instead expensive mineral water arrived when really tap water would have been preferred.
