And after all that eating and drinking, work the kilos off by going on a bushwalk.....Or as we usually do....build up a thirst by going on a bushwalk first :o)There is a big bushwalk right around the lake or you do the same as us.....just go for a little one and along the way take a detour to walk along the lak front. As you can see here, the...more

I haven't eaten a full meal here, just pub bites. But I can recommend the Grand Boulevard Tavern for drinks, kareoke ;o) and a great atmosphere. I much rather prefer going here because it does not get too crowded and I can hear myself talk :o) ....Not like the Sovereign Arms in the shopping centre where it is overcrowded and too pricey.more

The reason why Kulcha Cafe is so popular is because the food is top of the range and very cheap. Have a look at the menu in the 2nd pic here for the lunch menu and prices.I you did not choose to eat at Joondalup...more
I recommend this restaurant for lunch. The burgers are really good. When I say the best steakhouse, Hogs Breath really is the only steakhouse in town. Sadly the couple of times I have eaten steak here it has not been very good....bit fatty. So I would stick with the burgers instead. Oh and washed down the a Corona or 2 :o)more

If you visiting Perth and love shopping, then why not shop with the locals? Joondalup Shopping Centre is huge....well in terms of what Perthians consider huge ;o) It has an array of shops from food, clothing, jewelry, gifts, department stores etc. Joondalup Shopping Centre is also very easy to get to. Just buy an all day ticket and catch a Clarkson train from platform 1 in Perth. It will take you about half an hour to get to Joondlup station and the shopping centre is right there.
