My first holiday - To Kalbarri, a quiet seaside town far north of Perth (past Geralton); this doesn't belong in this section but hey...
I must have been 8 or younger, when we went on this trip. We stayed at a nice little apartment thingy, with these 2 bratty kids for neighbours (the kind that follow you into the bathroom, but thats a whole seperate story), I remember writting a school project about Easter, watching Bond movies nearly every night - Goldfinger, Octapussy etc, WIN tv, spring rolls and seeing the pelicans one morning with my brother and my Dad.
Ok, so fondest memory maybe, I think it was a pub, but anyway - we played darts, space invaders (on these table computer game, think intencity from the 70s, even down to the plastic cotton reel chairs), and the juke box.
The one song we totally overplayed was "Don't Worry Be Happy"
