Pop himself looks a little like a garden gnome and he came racing out on his motorised bike when we stopped to take a look. We didn’t stick around in case he was planning more than a friendly hello. Apparently the town folk have been a little concerned about his living conditions and his health but to date he has managed to prove mentally fit and able.
The tiny garden off the main road was created during as a Celebration of the Centenary of Women’s Suffrage for the years 1899 to 1999. A small wooden gazebo sits in the middle of the garden.
