Large new restaurant filling the whole of one side of the boardwalk around the markets, offering a large variety of different styles of food.
Sit inside in the airconditioning or outside overlooking the water.
Yet another Dome Café.. but what a great location. Right on the foreshore of Mandjar Bay. What better way to enjoy one of the great coffees and/or cakes, watching the activities on the water. The Dome is very well known in Australia with their wide variety of coffee choices. I have spent a lovely afternoon sitting here in the sun, chatting and enjoying the location.
Café Pronto is right in the town Centre and opposite the old Mandurah bridge. It is a busy place with fine dining at reasonable prices. Then menu is varied from Mexican to Italian to seafood to steak. They also have vegetarian dishes.
Cicerello’s of course is famous in Fremantle but they also have a restaurant in Mandurah. Like the Fremantle one, the two store Mandurah restaurant is situated right on the Boardwalk with a great view of the bay. Their seafood platter is a specialty. Dining is in or you can take away.
You cannot bypass Simmo’s Ice creamery.. This ice cream is good and I’m so glad that you can now get it in more locations. Sitting on the boardwark overlooking Mandjar Bay, there have a wonderful selection of sorbets and ice cream. Unfortunately the day I was there they didn’t have one of my favourites, Tiramisu but they do have good number of choices as well as sundaes and waffles.
They also sell tickets for the boat cruises as well.
The Mad Cow Creamery is in the new Dolphin Quay. Of course they sell ice cream but also freshly made waffles, cakes, muffins, scones, homemade biscuits and fresh fruit smoothies.
This is a lovely Italian 2 storey restaurant at the end of the foreshore behind the Visitors Bureau. They offer a diverse range of choices and can cater for both casual, intimate or family dining.
