The Settlers Tavern is right on busy Bussell Hwy and very popular. They often feature rural touring bands as well as the national tours.
The menus are really varied and there is sure to be something to temp everyone. They use mostly local produce and meats. They also have an extensive wine list. Another attraction for some is that their lounge bar is smoke free.

if youre looking for something to do at night in the small town of margarets go down to settlers tavern. you cant miss it, its on the main drag. a really great pub and a good place to meet the fantastic locals. this place also has an awesome live music scene, ive seen some of my favorite bands from all around ausralia and the world here, small towns often have big suprises so head down there any weekend. oh and sometimes you have to buy tickets in advance for the big names. Settlers Tavern has a pretty full entertainment schedule. Most of the stuff is typical pub rock/garage music, but they have the occasional electronic and other generes as well. Check the website for details of what's on when.
Casual. The locals dub this place "the flea pit", because it's where the ferals like to hang out. (for the non-australians, ferals=greenies)

Settlers Tavern has live music just about every weekend. You can catch all sorts here. A lot of the upcoming Perth bands travel here - Nathan Gaunt, Bob Evans, 43 Cambridge - plus a lot of local stuff. They have dj's, tribal music, folk music, rock, karoake - all styles. Gig guides are listed on their website, so check it out or just take a chance and see what you end up with!
Great meals are served all day as well. Certainly a great place to hang out and meet the locals.
