Just halfway between Toodyay and Northam is the Avonlea Park Alpaca Stud farm. While there are other animals there, the farm is primarily for alpaca's. You will be able to get close to the animals and feed them as well as be provided with interesting information. Other animals include donkey's, coloured sheep and goats. The Farm serves morning, afternoon teas and light lunches. You can also purchase alpaca gardments as well as wool and other local crafts.
Open Monday to Friday 10.00am to 4.00pm March - November.
