Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The Australian climate is strange. It can be very hot but at night it cools down considerably. I only packed summer stuff when I went first and I ended up wearing the long warm scarf I brought from winter cold Europe. So take a nice warm sweater with you.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: What they say is very true! The sun is very harsh down under. So make sure you have your shoulders covered, a spf 20 or even 30 in your bag and a big sunhat! Well not a very big sunhat…just be careful.

Miscellaneous: I thought I got stuck with a crap job when assigned to pack and unpack the truck, but it got me out of kitchen duty, freeing me up to drink more beer before dinner with my co-packer, Gary.
