Coalseam

Pack a picnic hamper and head for Coalseam National Park, where the landscape is a blanket of yellow, pink and white everlastings. Enjoy the views from the lookout of the walking trails.

There’s a dry riverbed through the reserve and if you’re a bit of a rock hound it’s a paradise for pottering through specimens. Follow nature’s sculpture-work as the bed winds through gorges and cliffs.

See the limestone cliffs of the gorges up close, there are fossilised remains embedded in the rock.
