Church of St Joseph.
The Church was built by Monsignor John Hawes in 1937. He was working on two other plans for other parish churches, supervising construction of Northampton's St Mary in Ara Coeli and travelling long distances on horseback as an active parish priest.
The sign outside the Church, explains its history and its interest.
His style and work were influenced by Father Benedict Williamson's book "How to Build a Church'.
