Favorite thing: It's definitely worthwhile to check out Kings Park...it's a huge park that overlooks the city of Perth and isn't too far from the centre...it's an uphill walk though so take a bus or taxi if you don't like walking. :)

Favorite thing: Perth has some beautiful parkland. Kings' park is extremely famous and very large, but I didin't actually go there. However Queens Gardens near the WACA is another gorgeous park.
Fondest memory: All this beauty and a vibrant city mixed together under a crystal blue sky and blazing sunshine, with the gentle breeze of the "Fremantle Doctor" to keep it cool.

Favorite thing: Enjoy the view from Kings park. You can see The Perth skyline and the Swan river all the way to Fremantle.
Fondest memory: The fireworks on new years eve in Gloucester park was really great. 15 minutes of superb fireworks ending when the clock striked 12.

Fondest memory: Watching the very first sunrise at Kings Park in the 21st century...King's Park is a nice place to walk and see movies outdoors...You can take the bus up there, but it's actually not too far of a walk from town, and the view is terrific!!!

Favorite thing: You absolutely must visit Kings Park: a very big park of 7 square in the middle of Perth. Beautiful trees, the Swan River, Aboriginal-shop, etc. etc.
Fondest memory: The very nice, warm and cute beaches near Perth. Of course the weather too: warm, sunny, not really sweaty and little brease.

Favorite thing: This is Monica (my best friend) enjoying Perth's Kings Park. I am sad that she is so far away from me, but on the bright side, I have a great destination to visit her in!!

Beautiful city! The air is clean, the night is fresh. This picture is taken from the hill in Kings Park West of downtown.

Favorite thing: You must visit King Park. The park is huge and practically borders the Central Business District. It will give you the best view of the city and Swan River. It is an oasis in the city.
