Hans Cafe's can be found in 16 locations in Perth city and suburbs featuring tasty Asian cuisine.
We dined at the 546 Hay Street City Cafe and the photo was taken outside trading hours - hence the lack of customers and staff.
The chain was established in 1995 and is a credit to the hard work of the founder Ian Han who, as their web site states, "was a near fatal victim of the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia during the late 1970's in which time he learnt to cook for over 2,000 people per day in soldier-run labour camps working over 100 hours per week. After his escape through Thailand - the only member of his family not to have been killed, he migrated to Australia with his wife Tram, a young Vietnamese woman he met in a refugee camp."
We found the menu extensive and were well satisfied with our choice. Menu prices are in the "cheap eats" category, although food quality and staff service are far better than their prices indicate.

We had our first dinner in Perth at Hans, an Asian Food Restaurant.
We went to Westfield Carousel which is in Cannington.
Hans Cafe is a chain of resturants founded by Ian Han in 1995.
We found out that the menu is different from what they were serving at the Hans Café in Singapore.
We ordered many dishes and shared it amongst six of us. The food was delicious.

The restaurant reminded me of a Thai settings due to the displays in the restaurant.
The food was good and tasty. The waitress recommended Phai Thai and Green Curry Chicken which was ok. We were more adventurous and tried other dishes which i found was better (see below).
Best part is that i's opened 7days a week, 11am to 10pm. Many of the eateries in Perth CIty are not opened beyond 5pm.
Favorite Dish: Can i have more than 1? :-)

There are various Han's Cafes around Perth. The one I visited was on Hay Street. This place is OK for a quick cheap bite to eat, but the place looked run down.

If you want a variety of Asian cusines/Dishes,this is the place to come with reasonable prices. Not your typical high class resturants but affordable for budget holders.
