I don't usually like theme bars and resturants but I'm a sucker for a Hogs Breath Cafe. Found all over Australia serving good sized portions of consistantly good quality food the Hogs Breath Cafe has become a firm favourite for when I fancy a steak and chips with a few beers. There is always a friendly atmosphere and families are welcome any time.
There are steaks and ribs aplenty but you can also eat healthily, there are salads and pasta dishes too, Hogs Breath are currently promoting the benefits of garlic and broccoli etc and some leaner chicken dishes.
Favorite Dish: Steak and chips easily, nowhere as good as a Steak Frites from a good Parisien bistro but good hearty fare.

Want a yummy big burger? Then why not visit Hogs Breath Cafe. Hogs Breath Cafe is located to the left of Valentinos in Lake Street. If you want a filling burger lunch washed down with a Corona, then look no further than Hogs Breath. Btw, it does have yummy coctails as well :o)

We really enjoyed our trip to Hogs Breath. It had been a hard week all round and it was a wet night. We were in need of comfort food, warmth and cocktails. Hogs Breath fitted the bill perfectly. Arrive early and grab a cocktail or two at the bar. Plus you can get a light version of most meals, meaning a smaller portion of meat (which is quite enough). Hogs tail fries are yummy and the service was quick.
Open for Lunch 11:30am to 3.00pm Mon/Sun and Dinner 5:30pm to Late Mon/Sun.
All bookings must be confirmed by phone. And believe me, you will need to book if it's a Friday or Saturday night.
Favorite Dish: TRY THE COCKTAILS!!! Fantastic prices for fantastic drinks. I also recommend the Calamari Prime Rib - tender Prime rib topped with salt and pepper crumbed calamari rings and Lime Sweet Chilli sauce.
