MTB in Margaret River. Please go and see Robert or Sarah at Cycles and Repairs Margaret River in the industrial area. The help and service is unlike anywhere else. They are very busy so booking of bike services or repairs is a must. I live in Perth but to be treated properly I can't help but go to Margaret river for all my bike needs. The new bike tracks as you enter the town from the north are great-well worth the trip.
I do not recommend Blazing Cycles in Scarborough for any help or service. They are rude, impatient, and arrogant.
Equipment: Margaret River Cycles and Repairs.
Bicycles are a popular way of transport to discover Rottnest Island at your own pace. It is more enjoyable by the fact that no private vehicles are allowed on Rottnest, and service vehicles are kept to a minimum.
So let's go for a ride. After mountainbiking on my Swiss Alps, I try the islandbiking. What a change especially in the scenery...
A 6.5km walk around Perth's southern suburbs. Start from Deep Water Point Cafe, follow the path up under Mt Henry Bridge, trail the freeway to Canning Highway and loop past the Raffles back to your starting point. A beautiful walk - have a gawk at the homes of some of Perth's richer residents.
Oooh, and if you are lucky, you may be able to spot a couple of dolphins in the river!
