Secret harbour is the best surfing beach near to Rockingham.
It has a well developed beachfront area with a shops, cafe, toilets, showers and children's playground.
Many surfers and body boarders use this area in the summer.
WARNING There are rips (currents) which can drag you out to sea. You should know what you're doing before going out. My son as a young teenager got caught in a rip and had to be rescued by the lifeguards.

Rivergods Sea Kayaking.
Paddle across to Seal Island in our stable double sea kayaks, and into limestone caves and formations, reef platforms, visit Penguin Island and see the Fairy Penguins, and visit the old cave home of Seaforth Mackenzie. Swim with the friendly Sea Lions.
The trip includes transport from Perth, excellent kayaks and all equipment, snorkelling gear, entrance to "Penguin Experience" on Penguin Island, and a great picnic lunch.
NOTE: No experience required, but booking is essential!
Times: Daily from 18th September to June.
Fees: $125.00
Group discount available.
Full payment is due 14 days before the trip
Equipment: All the gear is supplied.
Remember to bring your bathers, hat, sunscreen and footwear.
