Scarborough Beach Perth

Take a bus trip to Hillarys Boat Harbour just up the road. Hillarys is touristy but a fabulous way to spend a day, enjoying the quaint shops, lovely restaurants and cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Catch the 458 bus service right outside Rendezvous and enjoy the view on the coast road up to Hillarys.

Scarborough Beach Perth

People come to Scarborough to enjoy the Western Australian relaxed beach life. There are numerous beach activities available from taking it easy to kite surfing. I would liken Scarborough to a mini Surfers Paradise, Qld...... without the huge crowds of course :o)

Villa Bianchi Scarborough Perth

Villa Bianchi is opposite Rendezvous and has lovely views over Scarborough beach. We dined here when my eldest daughter Kelli graduated from High School and they had the ceremony in Rendezvous. Big plates of food and very yummy.

Nightlife

Indian Ocean Hotel: Indie Bar Mic Night
Pippa_Jayne profile photo
Pippa_Jayne 1 reviews

Every Thursday at the Indian Ocean Hotel (located not far from Coles and the shopping priscint in the main area of scarborough), a FREE open mic night is held.

You can buy jugs of beer and a whole range of cocktails, the bar of the hotel is open to all and is a regular hot spot for the locals.

The atmosphere is friendly and live music ranged from acoustic one man acts to full bands with songs already on the local radio!...

If you want to get away from the music there is an nice outdoor area with large tables, heat lamps and a pool to make it picturesque!

If you wish to play you need to speak to the manager of the bar before the night, however, is still worth heading down to just to watch the local acts.

Dress Code: No flip flops (thongs) allowed...casual attire, jeans are fine, trainers are fine.

Contacios, Scarborough Perth

I'm pretty much past the night club scene, but my lovely daughter tells me that this is the place to go!!
Contacios is very popular with the young ones here in Perth. Well why not?...it's right opposite Rendezvous.....within staggering distance......... :o)
