Subiaco Things to Do

  • Subi for shopping

There's 2 markets in subiaco. They are open on the weekend. This is the main street opposite the railway station. There is one market on the left hand side of this street and the other market, station street market, is on the other side of the railway station.

  • Terrace Houses of Subiaco

Subiaco has been around for a long time and for those that live here we take the Terrace Houses for granted but to those that visit they are the quaintest examples of early Subiaco architecture we have.

  • Great meeting place-Oriel's Cafe

TO be seen or To be heard??This is where we have a small VT meet with Annathrax, Myself and Phil_net_uk and Gwynneth! Chilling out at Oriel's cafe (24 hours) with the gang was cool. The food was fabulicious, the yakkings/gossipping acts was non stop, and the weather that night was absolutely great.Once again, thanks for sharing ya stories and hope...

Subiaco Restaurants

  • Oriel Café

Perth's only 24 hour, 7 day-a-week café. Recommended by Ling and the venue for my meeting with the 'Girls of Summer'.

  • For the love of Pizza!

Funtastico is a place you can take your friends without a booking and after a little while being served drinks by a flirty italian waiter you'll be seated at a table or booth and served in a most proficient manner.Funtastico's noisy and upbeat vibe is perfect for a good start to a great night out! There is entertainment from the open kitchen as...

  • Best Indian in Town!

This place is so spicy!! Including the staff! I'm never dissappointed going here... its got a vibe you can't beat... the music and good energy just keep you coming back... oh yeah... the food... well with the best flavours in town you can't go wrong! Favourite dish... well its not a curry... but I just love Buddha Bars' Tom Yum Goong! With a good...

  • Can't Go Past The Atmosphere at...

This is the place where we all meet for a day of fabulous dresses and hats... a day when the guys dress in their best Armani suits and everyone stops work for the Melbourne Cup!The Subi (as we locals call it) seats about 200 people in its restaurant and courtyard smoking area. There is a cocktail bar and Bianca's bar with pool tables, large screen...

  • One of Perth's ONLY 24 hour cafes!

Oriel Cafe Brasserie opened in 1988 as one of Perth's only 24 hour a day, 7 day a week cafe's. The Mediterranean menu is always changing however, I can confidently recommend the Roast Capsicum and Pumpkin Soup served with fresh hot bread on stylish white porcelain crockery.

  • Sicilian - good pizza and pasta

Since leaving England I had got the urge for a good pizza but hadn't been able to find anywhere in Singapore. When I got to Australia I found this place. The pizza was great, as was the Australian wine. Highly recommended. Leave a tip though, unless you want to find a horse's head in your bed the next morning. Great, wood-fired pizza.

Subiaco Nightlife

  • So Fembotique!

Christmas 2003 was so Groovy Baby! The Sunday sessions are all the rage with Perth’s backpackers but you need to be smartly dressed to get in.

  • Nothing like the Subi...

The Subiaco Hotel has a Cocktail bar and Bianca's bar with pool tables, large screen TV, food and music. The lounge foyer also serves food and drinks. Smart casual... business... party... you can never over dress darling!

  • The place to meet...

Oriel Cafe Brasserie opened in 1988 as one of Perth's only 24 hour a day, 7 day a week cafe's. Come as you are... relaxed and friendly... or dressed and ready for action. Its a great starting point for a good night out!

  • Enjoy the night while it's still young

Very lively nightclub/pub where it is always crowded on Fri/Sat nights with yuppies :PI guess this is just another spot if you want to be seen and to be heard. Men: not forgetting to bring your charisma and neat leather loafers.Ladies: Dress to kill plus those high stilettos if you want to catch the scene in a better view.

  • Don't Fake the Funk

From Wednesday thru to Saturday Llama has LIVE music and DJ's keeping you funked up from 8pm 'til late.Llama Bar can cater for up to 250 people in their open air undercover courtyard and bar for any private function.Llama has one of the largest range of vodkas available in Perth and was also voted into the Top 10 bars around Australia.
