Blessing of the Fleet

Being one of the crayfishing towns along the west coast of Australia there is a tradition/custom called "Blessing of the Fleet". It is usually held in the middle of November and has a carnival atmosphere. If you are thinking of a trip up to Two Rocks, this is the time to do it.

Since writing this, they no longer hold "The Blessing of the Fleet", but we do have an annual free concert sponsored by the City of Wanneroo. Always fairly well known Artists and we are lucky enough to be able to see/hear it from our balcony, in comfort, with all the necessary drinks and nibbles of course!
