The Cameleer Park is a Camel Farm north west of Whiteman Park. The camels were captured 10 years ago in the Great Sandy Desert and brought to Perth and trained. You can take anything from a short 10 min, 30 min ride to 1/2 day treks and weekend safaris. Its a really fun thing to do if you have never been on the back of a camel before. They are really gentle creatures and very comfortable to ride. You may be lucky and see some baby ones out there too. There is also a small camel museum.

The town of Guildford has been recognised by the National Trust of Australia and was one of three original Swan River Colony settlements. Guildford has some wonderful old buildings as well as many original homes, many of them very grand. Some are open to the public. Today Guildford is seen as the gateway to the Swan Valley, a rich wine producing area of Perth. One of the oldest wineries in WA (Olive Farm Winery) was established in 1829 and their wine cellar is still in use. The oldest church in WA is also in the Swan Valley – All Saints Anglican Church at Henley Brook.
Guildford is just south east of Whiteman Park.
