Mount Brown is 342 metres above sea level and provides 360degree panoramic views. You can reach the top either by car or you can walk up.

Outside the front of the York Motor Museum is a hand operated Shell Petrol bowser which is still in use and nearly 100 years old.

This is a two-roomed stone cottage within the stable yard of the old police station. It was built in 1865 to house the trooper who was responsible for the gaol behind the high wall.
