This was our 2nd most favorite place to eat on the island! Tupuna is a local chef who enjoys cooking. The restaurant is pretty hard to find if you're coming on a bicycle at night. It gets really dark without the city lights that we're used to. Good thing we took a taxi to get to this place. Great local ambiance with sands on the floor.

The food was excellent! This place is popular amongst Etu Moana guests. The portion is pretty big. We didn't have enough room for dessert afterward. We started with seafood chowder which was very tasty and filled with seafood. We also loved the chili lime fish. It's fresh, not spicy, sweet, and a little sour. I had the sirloin steak with grilled shrimp for entrée, great size steak, well cooked, juicy and tender, served with coconut sauce with mushroom. Yummmmmm! My wife had the house special curry, seafood filled curry with rice. We never tasted curry like that before, one of the best curry we've had. It was sweet and had cinnamon taste!

It's too bad we didn't have enough room for desserts. Next time for sure!

Favorite Dish: Can't really pick out 1 favorite dish. They were all very tasty! The chili lime fish, the chowder, the steak, and the curry, I can eat those over and over and over again!s
