see a cultural performance, the best dance and drum group on the island is 'Orama' or vision in enlish!! theyre just awesome, and are actually travelling frequently worldwide to showcase their stunning performance.
sunbathing at Muri Beach on one of the islands, and umm, pub crawling from RSA to-Nu Bar-CocoBar-TJ's-and the grand finale at Staircase,..Great fun!(if you remember much the day after!!) Leave a Comment

Snorkelling is a great pass time. Go to The Fruits or Black Beach. Take Capt. Tama's Lagoon Cruizes. You go for a ride in a glass bottom boat, go snorkeling, and have a BBQ at one of the Islands on Muri Beach. Rent a scooter and drive the inner circle road for a real taste of Island life. Don't forget to go to Church on Sunday. The singing is fantastic! Be sure to dress up.
It's the whole atmosphere of the place. The friendly people, the laid back lifestyle, the warm tropical weather, the vegetation, the beaches. It's like stepping back into time. Sunsets are spectacular. THIS PICTURE: Sunset at Manuai Beach Hotel Leave a Comment

It took a day or two to get used to the easy going, time doesn't matter attitude of Raratonga. When we left however, we were so relaxed and happy it was hard to adapt once again!

Rarotonga : Cross island trek, Snorkelling the reefs, Go to an 'island night', and most importantly RELAX! Aitutaki : A lagoon cruise is a must around what has been voted the 3rd best lagoon in the world!, tour the island on a moped, climb MaungPu for a view of the whole island, Go to church!(explain later), and of course relax in a hammock! See below for more details! Atiu : A cave tour!, cycle around the island on bike, Go to the Tumunu, Relax on a secluded beach!
Laying in a hammock overlooking the third best lagoon in the world on Aitutaki with the sun blazing down listening to my tunes on my walkman whilst supping an ice cold 'cooks lager'.......paradise! The other great memory which sticks out was when flying from Honolulu to Rarotonga, we flew directly over Aitutaki and it was the most breathtaking sight ive ever seen in my life and i'll never forget it. After sitting looking out of the window for 4 hours seeing nothing but ocean, suddenly this speck of a paradise island appeared surrounded by turquoise lagoons!! an amzing view! Doesn't really matter as it's so small it's easy to see everything. A day trip to Aitutaki is a must though.
