This is a great place for a night out where you can meet locals and other travellers. At the weekend it is a very popular spot but can be quiet during the week. The bar is upstairs and has great views out across the coast making it a good spot for a sunset drink. There is a grill here too where you can get bbq fish, steak, burgers etc but didn’t eat here so can’ vouch for the food...drinks definitely hit the spot though ;)
The Island night at the Staircase restaurant is the best value fin town or a meal and a show....$25 for both and is on every Thursday and Friday night...the dancer's are so close they are almost on your lap....and beware!!! they will get you up to dance with them.....they also have a Karaoke night on a Wednesday which is a lot of fun.
Dress Code: Pretty casual dress
Monday nights are big in Rarotonga, one great place to go is the local RSL Club which is near the airport, here you can get a cold beer or a cocktail and watch the local people dance to there own style of local music, play a game of pool, or join in the dancing, drinks are a fair price, $5NZ for 750 ml bottle of beer.
The place is not fancy but your not there for the decor, its the atmosphere so be like the local's and enjoy your self.

Island nights: There are a few island nights each week, check with your accommadtion house for days and times.
While we where there, we went to the Staircase Resturant for a meal and show, it was well worth the $25 dollars.
