Fish,fish and just for a change...fish. Dont expect lots of greens....most of the islands dont grow green vegetables too well because of its tropical weather so they are scarce and expensive.
Go fishing. The prices for deep sea game fishing were the cheapest in the world and i suspect probably still are.
Take a ride on the local school buses! If you don't mind springs in your butt, and the non-stop talking of kids, it is excellent.

go snorkeling anywhere! The fish are of more colors than anything else in the world. Sitting on a cliff on a remote island, watching a sunset engulf me.
Swim in the brilliantly clear, bath tub warm water and see all those neon-colored fish. Laying on the ground at night listening to the native students singing ancient songs.
On Taveuni you must visit the natural waterslide and the International Dateline The beach is what I miss most
