Getting to Beachcomber Island is either by speedboat, or this huge sailing ship.
We flew there from Sydney. Then took a sailboat from the mainland to Beachcomber.You can walk around the whole entire Beachcomber island in about 15 minutes. So who needs transportation?
FLY because it's so-o-o far to swim ...Definitely use the public bus system! FUN!!! Especially when all the school kids are onboard... One of my good memories.

There is one flight a day from LAX. It takes about 101/2 hours and you lose a complete day going.cab
Island hopping is by boat for most people. If money is not a problem local airline, Turtle, has sea planes which will take you around the islands. Must be even more beautiful from the air.
The Fijian Island are in the Pacific Ocean. Best to take a plane. Nadi Airport is the main gateway to Fiji.
taxi cabs are very cheap. their rates click over in one cent increments.
