Rakiraki is a great place to bask in the sun and soak up the natural beauty. When you've decided to do something active, there are options.
Scuba Diving- Kai Viti Divers and Ra Divers both offer diving options. Some of the most beautiful coral and fish in the world.
Snorkeling is also great- calm waters make easy entry (some places are rocky.) A great place to enter is MacDonald's Beach Cottages. They do not have bathrooms for non-guests, but you are allowed to lounge on the beach and enter the water. There is a pier where they feed the fish daily, so the fish are large and docile- and the entry is easy- calm waters with sandy bottom. Great for kids.
Sail boat trip- Warren from Safari Lodge can take you on a relaxing and calming sail boat trip.
Tour- take a taxi tour to a waterfall or a village. Sun Coast Taxis and Tours is a professional operation.

starfishblue Says: Very laid back place- open air restaurant with great view of out-islands, beach, pool with large waterfall, very nice for a relaxing holiday. Daily trips- mostly snorkel but also village tours and trip to waterfall. Bures are separate- like cottages.
