We went with the Taaroa, a catamaran located near the Sofitel Marara hotel. The catamaran can accommodate 16 passengers for the sunset cruise. They will pick you up at the pier of your hotel by 4:30 pm and will bring you to the other side of the island where you will have an amazing sunset (of course, depending on the amount of clouds). Enjoy the sun set at around 5:30 pm while drinking a cocktail (with or without alcohol) provided by the crew.
The trip takes 2 hours and you have to pay 3800 CFP (32 EUR) per person.
Casual but bring something with long sleeves for when it gets dark. It will be a little bit windy on the boat.
