waiting for the groom

Different resorts offer different packages. The ceremony we chose included a Tahitian Priest (who performed a fire dance after he blessed and baptised us with our Tahitian names), a group of dancers, singers and musicians, traditional costumes for the bride and groom (pareos which we could keep), beautiful flower leis and crowns, a handmade marriage certificate on traditional Tapa sheet, coconut punches. After the ceremony we were lead back to our bungalow which had been decorated in flowers and there was champagne, cake and gifts waiting for us. Then we had a wonderful gastronomic dinner. It was an incredibly romantic experience that I will never forget.
