Snack Moemoea is an outdoor cafe located on the waterfront of Uturoa. It was highly recommended by Max, the owner of the guest house where we stayed.
We knew the cafe was going to be good judging from the amount of locals who frequent the place.
The menu is a mixture of Chinese, American, and French snack dishes.
The grilled mahi mahi absolutely melts in your mouth!
Favorite Dish: We ordered the mahi mahi and chicken curry. Both dishes were full of flavor and went well with an ice cold Hinano brew!

This is a great place to eat when you are driving around the island, visiting Marae Taputapuatea, or simply for some good food on the south side of the island.
You can sit outside on the terrace with a nice view on the lagoon and the island of Huahine
Favorite Dish: They serve fresh fish, crab and lobster from the lagoon.
We had mahi mahi (dolphin fish) in coconut-vanilla sauce. It was delicious.

A: if I remember HERTZ is downtown Uturoa all others are at airport so it's a good walk, but there are also taxi there, short ride by car.
