Prices will obviously vary depending on what you're buying and whether or not the salesperson is willing to negotiate, but for just a few hundred CFP you can expect to walk away with several pieces of fresh fruit.

The big building beside the ship dock "Gare Maritime Building" is kind of a shopping center with a couple of restaurants, boutiques, jewelry shops and an 'Arts and Crafts Village' or 'Fare Mama', where the artisan mamas display their hand painted dresses and pareos, woven hats and bags, woodcarvings and shell jewelry.
There are also various boutiques on the main street.
