The restaurant has a sand floor. When you walk in all the food that is available to eat(mostly fresh fish caught that day) is on display on a bed of ice.The manager, Craig, explains what everything is and you pick exactly what you want from what is on display. Execllent!

Bloody Mary's on Bora Bora is THE famous spot. Otherwise, the Society islands are surprisingly uncommercialized.

Favorite Dish: My favourite dish is Poisson cru à la Tahitienne.
It's raw tuna or mahi mahi marinated in lemon juice and coconut milk, with vegetables. You can have it as an appetizer or for lunch.

There is a good selection of Italian cuisine and local seafood. The prices were reasonable and the service was terrific.
Favorite Dish: Mahi Mahi with vanilla bean sauce.

La Tipanear was my favorite restaurant, however I don't have any pictures. I do have a picture of the waitresses at Lanerva where the portions are small but the atmosphere is great!
