Luggage and bags: Bring only 1 suitcase and a small carry on, thats all you'll need!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You could honestly live in a bathing suit, pareo, and flip flops, but of corse bring at least one dress for a night out. Also be sure to bring a cover up for the nights, they can be a little chilly.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sunscreen, Sunscreen , Sunscreen!!! Aloe for not wearing enough sunscreen. lip balm with SPF, because let me tell you lips burn and peel and it isn't nice. Sampoo conditioner are a must as well.

Photo Equipment: Bring at least a couple of under water cameras! A digital camera and camcorder are musts.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bring a beach towel or mat most hotels don't supply one for you. Water socks, so you don't cut your feet on the reef. Flippers and snorkeling goggles. A pareo and bathing suit.

Luggage and bags: You won't need to pack much. I can tell you from experience you won't need pants or a sweat shirt at all! I basically lived in a bathing suit, a pareo, and flip flops for the entire 2 weeks.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Honestly you'll only need a couple pairs of shoes for your entire trip: flip flops, water shoes, hiking shoes, and semi-dress shoes for a nice dinner.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring tons of sunscreen and aloe vera!!! Of course bring your traditional shampoo and conditioners. Also be sure to use lime juice if the reef cuts you, it'll kill the infection.

Photo Equipment: Bring both an underwater camera for the shark feedings, as well as a regular camera to catch the beautiful landscaping. I also recomend catching at least one sunset and one sunrise, you wont regret it.

Miscellaneous: I highly recomend staying on the island of Moorea! Have a great trip I know you'll enjoy yourself, I know I did thats why we went back twice.

Luggage and bags: Air Tahiti will allows luggage weighing up to 32kg per person. You won't need this much!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Casual & some nice outfits if you want. Very casual place. Went to a few restaurants and some people dressed very casual - shorts & sneakers!

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring your own. Things are expensive on the island. Don't forget the insect repellant and sunscreen!

Mosquito repellent

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Tahiti is pretty hot, so you will want light clothing and beach wear. For the evenings, you may want long sleeved shirts and trousers to keep the mosquitos off.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Mosquito repellent. The mosquitos are VICIOUS in Tahiti. You do not want to get bitten, so take protection. There are also mosquitos that bite there during daylight, so wear repellent all day, not just in the evening.

Photo Equipment: Bring plenty of film/memory cards as you will not want to pay the exorbitant prices in Tahiti.

Miscellaneous: Tahiti is extremely expensive for everything, so without going over your weight limit on your flight, try and take everything you will need with you, as you won't want to buy too much stuff there when you see the prices!

BTW, this photo was borrowed from a web site selling Mosquito repellent!

Tahitian Pareos

Luggage and bags: We found that we really didn't need to pack very much and that flying between the islands makes you wish you didn't have so many bags.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: bring flip-flops or Tevas. It is so hot that you don't really want to be wearing socks.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Definitely bring your 30+ sunblock from home. The sun is very strong and burns you when you don't even know it. Also, I got suckered by waiting to purchase sunblock at the resort and ended up paying a whopping $26 for 1 little bottle. YIKES.

Photo Equipment: Buy an under water camera!!

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Of course bring your bathing suits, but no need to come with a wrap, because Tahiti and its islands are known for their beautiful pareos. I ended up buying quite a few.

Papeete is a busy town with lots of traffic and lots of people. The interior of the island is a total contrast; lush, green, unspoilt and very wet!
