Mount Lam Lam (lightning in Chamorro), the highest peak in Guam is located in Agat Village here in Guam. There is not much things to do in Agat besides Visiting the War in The Pacific Memorial Park but if you want to experience Boonie Stomping to the Peak of Mount Lam Lam, this is the place to be. You can just park your vehicles along the Highway and climb to the peak. The climb takes 2 to 3 hours, depending on your pace. At 1,332 feet (406 m), it is the highest peak in Guam. The distance from the peak to the bottom of the nearby Mariana Trench is the greatest change in elevation on Earth over such a short distance at more than 38,000 feet (11,000 meters) combined.

Visit the beach in Agat! This American territory was attacked by the Japanese on December 8, 1941 three hours after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Guam surrenders to Japanese on December 10th. During the height of the war, Approximatly 19,000 Japanese soliders and sailors on the island including ground crews at the height of the war. Guam was liberated by the US Marine 3rd Amphibious Corps on July 21, 1944 after a 13 day pre-invasion bombardment.
