Visit the beaches and enjoy snorkling or Scuba Diving. Gear can be rented from any of the local dive shops. My best memory was spending Christmas at the beach at Anderson AFB where we dug a pit in the sand and roasted a whole pig for Christmas dinner. I think it rained a couple of times during the day (it generaly rains somewhere on the island every day) but the sun dried things out quickly and we had a wonderful feast and a wonderful day. |

Go to a local event! If there is any kind of gathering while you are there you will definately get the feel for the island and the people. Taste all the food you can the fresh fish is amazing. Also take a trip down through the southern tip of Guam, it may look like a short distance but it can take an entire day. This is where the REAL Guam is. The barely touched island life still exists down here. Undeveloped hills and peaceful oceanside villages give you a clue to the values and lifestyle of the island that is often overshadowed by commercialism. One of the things that can never be beat is New Years Eve 1999. We got some blankets and drinks and headed down to a dark part of Tumon beach and at midnight we watched Fireworks overhead. It's an unbeatable experience that they do every year. |

EVERYTHING!!!What don't I like? One of my favorite "fun" things is being sneaky and going skinnydipping in the middle of the night. There are plenty of 'secluded' beachy type places. the water is warm all year round all day and all night! It's perfect! The friends and memories I made, and still enjoy in my head! I love the ocean. Scuba diving, snorkeling, and playing volleyball in the sand by the beach! |

GO TO THE NIGHT CLUBS. I'VE LIVED HERE FOR 2 YEARS AND THEY ARE GREAT BUT EXPENSIVE. ALSO HEAD TO THE BEACHES. CLEAR WARM WATER AND CLEAN. I CLIMBED A MOUNTAIN HERE AND HAD A DISCUSSION WITH THE EAST WIND. E-MAIL FOR AN EXPLANATION |

Guam has some awesome beaches, especially down on the southern end. If I were to have an oportunity to take visitors any where, it would have to be scuba diving or snorkling. Its another world down there! I hate to sound like a greeting card, but my fondest memory was findng me! It was the first time I lived on me own, and what an awesome place to grow! And next would be, Guam is where I met me hubby! |

Go snorkling by the coral reefs. It's cheap and it's beautiful. When your done go grab a bite to eat at the local market. Get some chomorro BBQ. Well i can't tell you my fondest memory but, i will tell you another one.... Chillin on the beach with my girl and watching the sun come up. The most beautiful beaches are on the Navy base. Get in some how...It's worth it!!! |
