It's a habor in the south, the sea is so blue and beautiful!! You can also find out dolphins, if you can take a private ship, then you will see!! OH, before I went to Guam, just a typhoon passed it, so we're so lucky to take a ship out, and really saw some dolphins!!!! And you can also go scuba diving there!!!

Another photo taken from my hotel room's balcony!! The weather is not so perfect, but still very charming! You can feel you're really on a vacation, feel so calm and good when you just sat on your balcony, that's all! My friend and I just sat on our balcony in the afternoon or night, to watch this wonderful view, and listen to the sound of sea! Both in daytime or in night time, you will love it! You will feel the humid from the sea, and also hear some noises from the bar! Just like everybody all enjoy here, and cherish here!!

... go to one of the local villages' Fiestas. Anyone is welcome and the food is always great, just bring your friendliness and it will be returned manyfold. So many fond memories ... boonie-stomping (hiking across country), parties on the beaches, scuba diving the wrecks at the bottom of Apra Harbor or off almost any beach, surviving Typhoon Pamela and various others lesser ladies, more!

Guam has some awesome beaches, especially down on the southern end. If I were to have an oportunity to take visitors any where, it would have to be scuba diving or snorkling. Its another world down there! I hate to sound like a greeting card, but my fondest memory was findng me! It was the first time I lived on me own, and what an awesome place to grow! And next would be, Guam is where I met me hubby!

Go to a local event! If there is any kind of gathering while you are there you will definately get the feel for the island and the people. Taste all the food you can the fresh fish is amazing. Also take a trip down through the southern tip of Guam, it may look like a short distance but it can take an entire day. This is where the REAL Guam is. The barely touched island life still exists down here. Undeveloped hills and peaceful oceanside villages give you a clue to the values and lifestyle of the island that is often overshadowed by commercialism. One of the things that can never be beat is New Years Eve 1999. We got some blankets and drinks and headed down to a dark part of Tumon beach and at midnight we watched Fireworks overhead. It's an unbeatable experience that they do every year.

Go to some beaches. Try visiting different parts of the island. Check out the old WWII sites! I enjoyed sightseeing around the island, jumping out of the car and into the ocean. My fondest memory was playing a concert on Toragee Beach with the former US Navy Band. I'm in the Air Force. We did a joint jazz band concert together back in the early 90s.

find out how to get to the underground fresh water cave in the Northern part of the island. It's quite a trek through some tricky terain, but it's quite worth it. Also in that area are the remains of an ancient chamorro dwelling. Skinny dipping at various locations around the island.

Explore the diversity of Guam. It has many different aspects both in the traditional island culture and the many phases it has gone through to be the modern place it has become. There are many Guams, layered in much like Hawaii and all are worth exploring. Snorkling and diving in 82 degree water. The sea cliffs are also really spectacular.
