one bag will be fine, but make sure you bring a medium beach bag to take with you to the beach every day. Bikini if you use one or anything else to go in the water, shorts comfortable shirts it gets really hot sometimes, shoes to use inside the water (very important) sunblock or oil, comfortable shoes and sandals. They have everything!!
Nearly every day on Guam is sunny and in the mid 80's so be prepared for it. Lots of time is usually spent at the beach, T-shirts and shorts are accepted pretty much everywhere. Even evenings out rarely ever get anything more than buisiness casual here, it's a laid back island life so throw away the ties. As far as shoes go sandles, and some tennis shoes should get you everywhere you need to go. You can find most every major brand when you get here, medical kits should have plenty of sunscreen and sunburn relief, and some pepto in case the food doesn't agree with you. Read the papers and look for signs, sometimes beaches are closed due to contamination, especially on the tourist side of the island. Best chance is to get OUT of the tourist area and find other beaches, there are some beautiful ones down south. Camping is allowed at certain places, but check with the visitors bereau....
No matter what time of year you come, just be sure to bring many pairs of shorts! It is sooooooo hott year round!
Be sure to bring that sunblock. Trust me you WILL need it.
Just make sure you go to Wal-Mart before you head to Guam. Because there isn't a single one on this island.
The weather in Guam is ALWAYS: 88 F with a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. Always. Dress appropriately.
I would suggest shorts, shirts, and 20 different bathing costumes, you can live in them. Sandals, trainers, and water shoes. Bring a nice outfit to go out on the town.
One thing not to pack when you leave Guam is a live Brown Tree Snake, especially if your next stop is Honolulu!
