Nearly every day on Guam is sunny and in the mid 80's so be prepared for it. Lots of time is usually spent at the beach, T-shirts and shorts are accepted pretty much everywhere. Even evenings out rarely ever get anything more than buisiness casual here, it's a laid back island life so throw away the ties. As far as shoes go sandles, and some tennis shoes should get you everywhere you need to go.
You can find most every major brand when you get here, medical kits should have plenty of sunscreen and sunburn relief, and some pepto in case the food doesn't agree with you.
Read the papers and look for signs, sometimes beaches are closed due to contamination, especially on the tourist side of the island. Best chance is to get OUT of the tourist area and find other beaches, there are some beautiful ones down south. Camping is allowed at certain places, but check with the visitors bereau....
