Hard Rock Cafe: Get a t-shirt at the Hard Rock

by Travel2write

Come check out the Rock and Roll memorabilia and get a nice bite to eat. I always try to get a t-shirt or knick knack for the family back home. Hard rock is a franchise well known throughout the world. Hey! Your a tourist, you have an excuse to visit. The grilled fajitas and a cool drink for me!

Old Hagatna Grill: Great Steaks!

by Travel2write

A cozy little restaurant in Agana. Great location and great food. A must stop if visiting the island. Great sandwiches and steaks too. The Old Hagatna Grill also serves a selection of steaks, featuring a New York Cut and a sizeable Ribeye, which come with their crispy onion rings(these are a popular favorite). They also feature a Stuffed Chicken Breast Florentine. The menu usually changes every two months or so, with new items appearing and some popular dishes remaining.

Steaks & Shakes: Cheese Steak and a Shake!

by Travel2write

Popular with locals and tourist the same. A menu filled with good old-fashioned American chow, including burgers, hoagies, Deli sandwiches, Salads, and that classic favorite from America's Liberty Bell city, the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich! I ordered a 6" Cheese Steak for $6.32. It comes with onions, mushrooms, ketchup, salt & pepper, on a roll that's fresh baked from their oven. The sandwich was awesome, overflowing with sliced, tender beef that was bound together by melted cheese and onions. It's the best Philly Steak sandwich I've had! As far as the shakes? Made with Dryers ice cream, they have some great ones that are just awesome for the price of 3.75. Another thing I loved was the size of the straws. I hate it when a shake is soooo thick and you cannot suck it up! Ummmmm Good stuff, a must stop.

Jeff's Pirate Cove: Great BBQ Chicken, BBQ Ribs

by Travel2write

It's hard not to be captivated by the awesome majesty of the Pacific Ocean and it's infinite expanse, especially when viewed from the vantage point of the Pirates Cove beachfront. Jeff's is more than just a beach bar...it's one of Guam's tourist attractions Jeff's Chamoru Fiesta Plate ($10.00) has a combination of local favorites such as BBQ Chicken, BBQ Ribs (Jeff's uses ironwood for cooking, which imparts a special flavor to the well-marinated ribs and chicken) Sooooooooo Good. And cheap!

Jan Z's Bar and grill: Try eating out of town

by Travel2write

Nice Marina bar and grill to get a good bite to eat! The "Z" Burger ($7.00) is one of Jan Z's most popular sandwich meals (you select from french fries, rice, potato salad, garden salad or seafood salad as an accompaniment to all sandwiches), which is understandable , since Americans (and now everyone else) love hamburgers.

Outback Steakhouse: Good sized portions!

by Travel2write

This place is full all of the time, however pass the time at the bar having a few drinks while waiting for the table! The steak and lobster dinner. Portions are somewhat large, so eat early and walk it off while strolling the shopping district.

Alupang Beach Tower: Buffet overlooking the Beach

by mskwan

This buffet restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Alupang Beach Tower. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. A lot of buffet restaurants in Guam has an ocean veiw but I enjoyed the more open view here with their big glass windows. And they are cheaper than those buffets at Tumon Bay. After the meal, I can just open the door and walk right on to the beach. In the morning, things are quiet. By 11 am, you can watch the jet skiers while having lunch. Breakfast quality is so so, lunch is better.

Toh Lee at Hotel Nikko: Dim Sum with a View

by mskwan

This Chinese restaurant is located on the 16th floor at Hotel Nikko. It's expensive but the view is superb, and I say it's worth the price. We went there for dim sum lunch. The price is $25 a head with all you can eat food and ice tea. As in most dim sum restaurants, the little finger size dumplings/pasteries comes in bamboo steamers - the waiter show them to you and you point and choose. The big plus is that you can also select from the menu with items like fried prawns and a variety of Chinese deserts. The food taste fine but a little cool in temperature for my taste. I checked the dinner menu, it's too expensive to try. Hey, let me know if the view is good in the evening. They open everyday for dinner. For dim sum lunch, they are only open on Saturday and Sunday.

restaurant chains: and the biggies

by bibas

NOT recommended, unless they don't have these chains where U come from : Hard Rock Cafe, Outback Steak House, Planet Hollywood, TGI Fridays, Tony Roma's . however, they're all on prime territory, so the view might be worth it 8)

Sam Chuoy's: Hawaiian cuisine

by bibas

reserved for your last night in Guam w/ your loved one . right across DFS on the 2nd floor : ask Andy, our kind waiter, for that high table overlooking BOTH side of the Pale San Vitores Road . Specials R lobster /or/ crab set (crab goes out early into the night), will cost U bit over $100 for 2, but you'll cherish it forever ~
