    If you don't want to walk the 400 meter (1/4 mile) trek going to Yokoi's Replica Cave from the Talafofo falls area, you can ride the Improvised Noisy Monorail ride. The 5 minute ride goes to and from the cave and it costs $ 2 for a single ride and $ 4 for a round trip for a maximum of 5 person (the payment is $ 4 for all, not per person).

    Going to Yokoi's Cave is part of the Admision Price of the Talafofo Falls.

    A Caveat: this is not the real location of the cave, it is located 2 miles (3.3 kilometers) east of the replica cave here (was destroyed by a typhoon in the 1970's). they just redid the cave for tourism purposes. This replica cave is a 400 meter (1/4 mile) walk from on a trail from the talafofo falls area. If you don't want to walk to and from, they have an improvised noisy monorail available and a round trip ride is $ 4 for a group of 5.

    Opens: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    Admission price is $ 20 for adults
    $ 8 for children

    included in the admission price is the Cable Car Ride to and from the falls, Yokoi's Cave, Ghost House, Historical museum except the Monorail ride to Yokoi's Cave

    Cable Car Ride to Talafofo Falls

    This is the second part of my Talafofo Falls tips with pictures of the Cable car ride going to the falls. It is included in the admission ticket and is a 3 minute ride going eitherway and you would see the falls while going up and down the cable car.

    The Talafofo Falls is one of the must see destinations in the Talafofo area of Southeatern. The area is hom to the Talafofo Falls and Yokoi's Cave (a japanese world war II straggler who was found near the falls and was hiding for 28 years). The whole area os owned by the family of the current Governor, Eddie Calvo and is now a tourist destination. This 30-foot waterfall in the Ugum River cascades into a deep pool framed by steep bluffs and level rock ledges. The area is accessible by car or foot, and tourists can also ride a cable car to get to Talofofo Falls. Other features within Talofofo Falls Resort Park include the Guam Historical Museum, Yokoi's Cave, Observation Tower, and Ghost House and an improvised monorail ride going near Yokoi's Cave.

    Opens: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    Admission price is $ 20 for adults
    $ 8 for children

    included in the admission price is the Cable Car Ride to and from the falls, Yokoi's Cave, Ghost House, Historical museum
