  • Jungle Boat River Cruise

Our next stop was an area deep in the jungle, where relics of latte stones served as a foundation of their ancient bamboo and straw houses. Nearby were also caves in which Chamorros were herded into by the Japanese soldiers and killed by hand grenades thrown into the caves during WWII. Anyhow, it was a very interesting and historical cruise....

Favorite thing: You have to have a rental car from the local car companies to be able to go here at the Talafofo Area or from the local tours (like discover guam tours, lamlam tours and more) which goes here or just take the Let's Go South Trolley Bus Service of the Red Guahan Trolley at $ 45 for a whole day (but the last service ends at 4:30 pm at the talafofo station) since the village of talafofo is not easily accesible from tumon area. Taxis will be very expensive to ride to talafofo and there is hardly any taxi plying the area.

Fondest memory: the best way to have a tour around the talafofo area is by the assorted tour companies that offer various southern guam tours and most of them stop at the talafofo area.
