Guam on one hand is a toursit trap, on the another a laid back island community. However, it can easily be compared to the Honolulu area. The T-shirts and all the sports activities to entertain the tourist while separating them from the money they planned to spend on vacation. Personally I was never ripped off and felt they was an understanding about the nature of Guam's activities. And if you hunted around you could find some reasonably priced activities such a scuba diving.

I went to the cafeteria in Hilton Hotel.we wanna enjoy the nightlife in there.but we went there with 5-year-old baby. so we couldn't be allowed to enter that place because of that baby.I knew child could not stay cafeteria after 10.P.M.so we had to return to our hotel.

Most restaurants automatically charge the service charge of 10 percent. Sometimes it is hidden in the bill in the middle of the food order, so be careful for that. Check the bill carefully

When in restaurants make sure you get the local minue as the tourist one will cost more then the food is worth.

everything is a little expensive

don't think that because you are in Micronesia things will be cheap. Everything from gasoline to food is as expensive as a city like Los Angeles.
