None. However, there are strong currents off shore and be careful where you decide to play in the water. I would suggest playing and staying in the tourist area's for you water sports or use a local operation. I used MDA divers which while the boat was alittle large for my diving tastes they did a good job keeping track of the divers and getting them all picked up. Always be careful with your choice of dive operators, especially the farther you get out diving.
Not everyone on Guam is a criminal just like not everyone in America is prejudice against island people....
When you are in the ocean around Guam watch out for stone fish! you can get seriously hurt by these guys. From what I understand they hide in the sand...and you might step on one...so watch out.
this is quite a safe Island. Unlike some of the other Micronesian Island, you are safe at night.

The beaches on Guam are not the cleanest beaches around. You will see lots of tourists in the water in front of the hotels, but I would do some research before I went into the water.
Guam residents don't drink the water that comes out of the taps in their homes. Hotels have their own water purification, as do some restaurants.
I was in Guam in August. During the summer, there is lots and lots of rain. Be prepared but don't let it stop you from enjoying yourself.
Because the road is build on coral rocks, please pay attention to the road. It's slippery when raining.
