This is the island cafeteria. It is an all you can eat operation, but the food is uninspired and usually bland.
French fries are usually old and cold. If the featured entree is actually any good, you can be sure they'll run out of it before you get there. Decent salad bar, but only 4-5 choices of dressing. They usually forget to put out the vinegar & oil, so make that 4 choices. If you like stale, hard bread, this is your place.
They have a soft serve ice cream machine, which is often out of order. When it is working, you might have 2 choices of flavor. Don't count on this.
Soups are usually home made, which sounds good, except they don't know how to make soup. Consider them mildly flavored water.
Favorite Dish: Bufflao burgers. Occasionally, they have a lunch special of this and it's supposedly real buffalo meat. The patties are handmade, thick, and flavorful. These are actually good if you can get a bun that isn't old and stale. Otherwise, just eat the patty.

Pretty decent prices here, and much better food than the cafeteria. They have a short order grill, pizzas, and usually 3 hot food entrees with a daily featured entree for lunch and dinner. The two standards are fried chicken and roasted chicken, both of which are actually pretty tasty.
Side items are usually rice, mashed potatoes, and green or mixed vegetables.
It is supposed to be replaced Summer of 2008 by AAFES-operated Burger King, Anthony's Pizza and Subway.
If you're eating out on Kwaj, do yourself a favor and eat here instead of the cafeteria (Cafe Pacific).
Favorite Dish: Prime rib, usually the featured entree for dinner on Saturdays.

Kwaj is so off the beaten path that there is not much interest in visiting here. However, since there are the occasional hardy souls who express interest in the place, and since it is rather difficult...
Any info would be appreciated. Zydeco Party Band is playing 3 parties somewhere in the area, that's all I know.

I am not sure if this is some place that caters to tourist, but it does offer some of the best diving in the Pacific. I was there on a military flight and did not spend a lot of time there.
