While in Queenstown, start your night by going to The RED ROCK first, then THE WORLD, and then CASBAR. I liked THE WORLD the best, but they are all great places to have a beer and just meet some great people. This was taken from THE WORLD, with some great friends I met among my travels.

Well it's pretty much the only night club in Paihia...so I guess it makes it unique...it's where quite a few locals hangout as it's also where all the tourists head too...wonder why the locals go there?? They have some reasonable music and a couple of pool tables and stuff...drink prices aren't too bad either. Pretty Casual...it's Bay of Islands...
Being such an unpopulated country, theres not a massive selection of nightlife over the whole country. The 3 main cities of Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland all have their fair share til the early hourse. Dunedin is busier in student terms.Queenstown is always pretty lively! but the kiwis like a drink so theres always a bar somewhere!Picture : Lyttelton, nr Christchurch

Again like dunedin and auckland most of the better nightspots are located around the river front.
If you're in Queenstown you have to go to Winnie Bagos. Was my favourite bar with the most random people!
