Favorite thing: The Wintergardens are located in the Auckland Domain, not far from Auckland Museum. The glass houses date back into the early twentieth century and although the plant collection is very modest, the place is free and makes a nice retreat if you're in the city centre. The "fernery" is a secluded 'bush' walk through native New Zealand forest (which we call 'bush'). Some major reconstruction was going on in the grounds of the Wintergardens in November 2003, which had somewhat ruined the place... however, by April '04 it should all be finished.

Favorite thing: I get to this city to learn English, andI get in Love with the people and its open mentallity. In this land Now body is from here and that makes it a very cosmopolitan and cultural center. you have asians, europeans, americans and Islands people, and as kiwi people say Prisioners went to Australian and Missioners came to New Zealand, that means that Maori where not reppressed as the Australians aborigins, and with Waitangi traty they signed a peace to live in peace. Understanding and Respect are the words for the people that lives here.
Fondest memory: Its views from any of its hills, and the good friends I made there.
