Favorite thing: Auckland's Skytower is one of the best places to catch a glimpse of the city. Auckland is a city that is based on its interaction with the water, and from the skytower, you can see just how busy of a port this is. From the casual sailor to the cruise ship, to the freighter, this port is on the go 24/7.
I would definitely recommend heading up to the top observation deck and enjoy a view of this port city!
