Auckland Zoo is nice to visit if you have a couple of hours to spare. It isn't too big but it has some cool animals like kangaroos, meerkats, lions, hippos etc....

We spent our last day in Auckland Zoo. It was a very enjoyable day out. Would recommend it.

lots of wildlife and animal.. There is a construction at the moment (Aug-sep 2004).. you can't see kiwi at this time..
But this is a really big zoo.. so go there early.. give it at least 3 hours...
