The Sky Tower is the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere. It's 360 degree views are amazing and you can spot practically any Auckland landmark (including my house) from it! The Restraunt is also great, as it revolves round! You can also climb to the top of it and also jump off it (with a harness)!

The sky tower is a symbol of Auckland. This dull tower looks much nicer at night, especially at a cloudy night,and it changed colors often. I couldn't believe it was the same ugly tower that night I took the picture...All the flaws are covered up, and you should never trust your eyes... Anyway, it is a highest place to sight view the whole Auckland on top of Tower, should not miss it. Also, if you want something exciting, why not to try a bungy jump from the top of the tower?

Try to catch a view of the sky tower at night if possible. The tower is bathed in violet light adding its distinct colours to the Auckland nightscape. The night view above the tower is simply stunning for $15 NZD. Definitely not a sight to be missed. Plus if you are feeling lucky. You can always try your hand at the sky tower casino right at the base of the tower.

When you visit do go to the top most deck.. it is far better... also leave film to click more pictures from top.... We also exp a Mauri filk dance at the base of the Tower... it was great, they did pull are few people from the audience also and made them dance...

Where else can you get a nice 360 degree view of Auckland? Well, the best time to be at the tower is in the evening where you can catch the sunset. Make sure that it's not hazy or raining so that you get an unobstructed view. Zipping up the lift, you can literally feel your ears pop. Afterwhich, take your time to soak in the panoramic view of Auckland. That's not all. Some portion of the floor is made of glass. I did a bit of knocking to make sure the glass floor could hold my weight. Thank goodness for the double glass protection.

You can't miss seeing the skytower when in Auckland, and the attached casino attracts punters who may want to try their luck. There's a good view from the top as this picture shows.

You cant miss the sky tower ! and the bungy jump is cheap! it does not cost much to go up to the top, its worth the extra few dollas to go to the upper upper deck, its a little less busy. At the bottom there are a few bars a casino [big casino] and a place to grab some food..

The Tower at Night

You must visit the Sky Tower. Loads of other things in the tower to keep you busy. You can get a nice view of Auckland from the tower and watch the mad people buggy jumping from the tower. There's also restaurant/Bars a Casino and a Hotel. We spent some time in the tourist information center in the Tower. Very well stocked and friendly staff
