    CITY CIRCUIT FREE BUS

This is a GREAT service that uses an environmentally friendly Electric bus to run a continuous 10 minute service around the central city.
    8am - 6pm, 7 days.
This is an excellent service as walking up Queen Street can be a chore, especially if you have armsful of shopping, LOL.

It runs: Britomart > Queen St (Vulcan Lane) > Queen St (Whitcoulls) > University > AUT > Civic theatre (Queen St) > Skytower > Queen St City Life Hotel > Queen St (BNZ Tower) and then back to Britomart.

I found the drivers to be exceptionally friendly and efficient. Maybe that was because they weren't taking money and the passengers were more friendly :-)

    City Circuit Bus

This is a fantastic free of charge service that travels around the city in a clockwise direction. It leaves every 10 minutes between 8am-6pm. Look out for the bright red buses - you cant miss them! Buses are hybrid so enviromentally friendly :-)

    The stops are as follows:

Britomart (main transport hub in Auckland)
    Queen St - Vulcan Lane
Queen St - Whitcoulls (huge bookstore)
    University
    AUT
    Civic
    Sky Tower
Queen St - City Life Hotel
    Queen St - BNZ Tower.

    If this is not cost-effective...

If you are sick of walking and spot a bright red bus, just hop on it: It is the free City Circuit bus.

This bus is a red, hybrid electric public transport option. Each bus has 30 passenger seats and low floor access and wide entry/exit doors.

The bus travels along Queen Street down to Britomart on the waterfront, to Albert Park, Symonds Street and along Wellesley Street to the Sky Tower. The City Circuit operates seven days a week, every ten minutes between 8am to 6pm.
