The LINK route

The LINK is a very cheap environmentally friendly bus (satisfying the Euro5 standards) that will lead you from the city centre to all the main touristic actractions in Auckland for 1.60NZ$!
I definitely do not suggest driving in Auckland, above all because parking could be very expensive, and the LINK is simply the best way to move around!

Bus Stop

The Link is the most convenient way to go around Auckland City. It runs every 10 minutes from 6am to 7pm Monday to Friday. In the evenings the frequency is every 15 minutes and also on Saturdays but from 7am to 6 pm. Difficult to miss. Most of all interesting sites can be reached by this service.
The City Loop costs NZ$ 1.50
A Day Pass costs NZ$ 7.00
The Auckland pass costs NZ$ 10.00 including the downtown Fullers ferries.

The Link Bus ; circulates around the inner city area both clockwise and anticlockwise. The service will take you from the city to Newmarket, Parnell, Grafton, Karangahape Road and Ponsonby - all great areas for shopping and restaurants
